ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The Midrand Business Park is a corporate office park that consists of five buildings and grounds with various and changing tenants. This project started off as a revamp of the 1980’s buildings, with refurbishment, landscaping and other elements as part of the corporate architectural brief. Since then Pietman has been involved as consulting architect that is involved in structural, safety, legislative and aesthetic needs of the tenants and landlord alike. In many instances property developers will develop a space and then leave it up to tenants to look after their premises.

This of course causes great risk with regards to safety and compliance. The developers of this office park did however step up to the plate and have a consulting architect on stand-by for any refurbishments and tenants needs. It is a demonstration of responsible development but also long-term commitment to a well-established project.
